Possible Causes
Stuck fan relay on control board, Faulty temperature sensor near control, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting the control board.
- Allow full cool-down: Some LG ovens keep the fan running until the cavity and control area are cool. Wait 30–60 minutes.
- Power reset: Turn the breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then ON. If the fan immediately starts with a cold oven, suspect a stuck relay.
- Inspect control board: Remove the rear panel and examine the board for a welded fan relay (burn marks). Replace the control board if the relay is stuck closed.
