Possible Causes
Burned-out oven light bulb, Faulty door switch, Failed light relay on control board, Loose light socket wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before replacing the bulb or accessing wiring.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven and replace the bulb with an LG-approved high-temperature oven bulb of the same wattage.
- Test door switch: If the light still does not work, test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace if faulty.
- Check socket and wiring: Inspect the light socket and wiring for burns or loose connections. Repair as needed.
- Control board: If the switch and bulb are good, the light relay on the control board may be defective and require board replacement.
