Possible Causes
Shorted oven cavity lamp, Shorted lamp holder, Faulty accessory relay on control board, Damaged wiring to lamp or accessory
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before touching the lamp or internal wiring.
Lamp and holder check:
- Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually twists off).
- Take out the bulb and visually inspect for a broken filament or darkened glass; replace with the correct high-temperature oven lamp (same wattage and base type).
- Inspect the lamp holder for signs of arcing, burning, or cracking; replace if damaged.
Wiring and board:
- Check wiring from the lamp holder to the control board for insulation damage or shorts to chassis.
- If a new lamp and intact wiring still trigger F10, the accessory relay or driver on the control board may be defective and the board should be replaced.
After replacing the lamp or holder, restore power and test the oven light and basic heating functions.
