Oven display shows F14 and the door will not lock for pyrolytic cleaning, or cleaning stops shortly after starting.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool and power is off before adjusting the door or lock.

Door and latch checks:

• Verify that no racks or accessories are obstructing the door from closing fully.
• Inspect the door hinges and latch for misalignment; gently adjust the latch plate if the door does not engage properly.

Sensor and switch:

• Locate the dedicated pyrolytic temperature sensor (if separate from the main NTC) and test its resistance; replace if out of specification.
• Check the lock feedback microswitch for correct operation and continuity when the lock is engaged.

If mechanical alignment and sensors are correct but F14 persists, the control module may not be recognizing the lock state and should be evaluated by a technician.
