Oven display shows F5 and the cooling fan runs continuously or not at all.

Safety first: Disconnect mains power. Be aware of sharp metal edges when removing panels.

Fan access and inspection:

• Remove the oven from the cabinet if necessary to access the top or rear where the cooling fan assembly is mounted.
• Check if the fan wheel spins freely by hand. If stiff or seized, the motor assembly should be replaced.
• Inspect for grease or debris buildup obstructing the fan; clean carefully if the motor is otherwise sound.
• Disconnect the fan motor and measure its resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• Check wiring from the control board to the fan for continuity and secure connections.

Control board check:

• If the fan motor tests good but never runs or runs constantly, the fan control triac/relay on the electronic module may be defective.
• Control board repair or replacement is typically a technician-level task.

Reassemble, restore power, and run a heating cycle to verify that the fan starts and stops appropriately and that F5 does not reappear.
