Possible Causes

Defective main power relay, Burnt tracks on power PCB, Overheated terminal block, Internal short on control module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the circuit breaker and verify the oven is de-energized. High voltages are present inside; if unsure, use a professional.

Basic checks:

  • Confirm that the household circuit breaker has not tripped and that correct voltage is present at the wall outlet or junction box.
  • Inspect the oven terminal block (where the mains cable connects) for burnt connections or loose screws; tighten or replace the block if damaged.

Control module inspection:

  • Remove the top or rear cover to access the electronic power board.
  • Look for obvious signs of damage: burnt components, cracked solder joints, or melted plastic around the main relay.
  • If the relay is visibly damaged or the board smells burnt, the entire module should be replaced with the correct Liebherr control board.
  • Transferring wiring must be done carefully, one connector at a time, to avoid miswiring.

Because this fault involves live mains switching, board-level repair is not recommended for untrained users. If no obvious external cause is found, contact a Liebherr service partner.
