Possible Causes

Open-circuit temperature sensor, Shorted temperature sensor, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Faulty main control PCB sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the oven at the wall isolator and remove the plug or turn off the circuit breaker. Allow the oven to cool completely before working on it.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore power and test. If E01 returns, continue.
  • Access the temperature sensor: Open the oven door and locate the temperature sensor probe at the rear wall (usually top-left or top-center inside the cavity). Remove the two mounting screws and gently pull the sensor tip forward to access the connector.
  • Check wiring and connector: Inspect the sensor wires for burns, cuts, or melted insulation. Ensure the plug is firmly seated in the connector going to the main harness.
  • Test the sensor with a multimeter: Disconnect the sensor from the harness. Measure resistance at room temperature; most Logik NTC sensors read roughly 1000–1100 Ω at 25°C (check your model’s service sheet if available). If the reading is infinite (open) or near 0 Ω (short), the sensor is faulty.
  • Check continuity to PCB: If the sensor tests OK, check continuity from the sensor connector to the main control PCB connector using a multimeter. Repair or replace any damaged wiring or loose terminals.
  • Replace the sensor if faulty: Fit a new compatible Logik oven temperature sensor (NTC probe), secure it with screws, and reconnect the harness.
  • If error persists: With wiring and sensor confirmed good, the main control PCB sensor input is likely defective and the PCB will need replacement. This is usually a level-4/5 repair and may be best done by a qualified technician.
