Logik oven overheats, food burns quickly, and the display shows E02 or shuts down with an overheat warning.

Safety first: Turn off power at the wall isolator or breaker. Allow the oven to cool fully before inspection.

• Check ventilation: Ensure the oven is correctly installed in the cabinet with the required ventilation gaps as per the Logik installation manual. Clear any obstructions from vents and grills.
• Inspect the temperature sensor: Locate the sensor inside the cavity at the rear. Check that it is firmly mounted and not touching the oven walls or elements. A sensor touching metal can read incorrectly.
• Test sensor resistance: With power off, remove the rear panel (if needed) to access the sensor connector. Disconnect and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare to specification (typically ~1000–1100 Ω at 25°C). If significantly out of range, replace the sensor.
• Check for short to earth: With the sensor disconnected, test each sensor lead to chassis with a multimeter on continuity. There should be no continuity. If there is, inspect for pinched or melted insulation and repair or replace the harness.
• Control board check: If the sensor and wiring are good, the main control PCB may be misreading temperature. Inspect the PCB for burn marks or damaged components. Replacement of the PCB is required if faulty.
