Possible Causes
Faulty electronic timer module, Loose ribbon cable between timer and main PCB, Power surge damage to control board, Internal PCB relay failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker or wall switch before removing the control panel or touching any wiring.
- Reset the control: Disconnect power for 10 minutes to discharge the electronics. Restore power and reprogram the clock. If E07 returns, continue.
- Check timer settings: Ensure the oven is not stuck in automatic mode. Set the timer to manual operation (often by pressing the manual or hand symbol button) and test heating.
- Access control panel: Remove the top trim or front control panel screws to access the timer and main PCB. Carefully pull the panel forward.
- Inspect connections: Check the ribbon cable and connectors between the timer display board and the main control PCB. Reseat all plugs firmly.
- Look for damage: Inspect both boards for burn marks, bulging capacitors, or cracked solder joints, especially around relays and power components.
- Replace faulty module: If the timer display is dead, flickering, or buttons do not respond, replace the timer module. If relays on the main PCB are not switching, the main PCB may need replacement.
