Possible Causes

Failed bottom heating element, Loose or burnt bottom element connectors, Damaged wiring harness to bottom element, Faulty bottom element relay on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing panels or elements. Use insulated tools.

  • Verify mode: Test conventional bake mode (before isolating). If the oven heats poorly from below or E09 appears, suspect the bottom element.
  • Access bottom element: Remove the oven from the cabinet if required. The bottom element may be under the oven floor panel inside the cavity. Remove any screws and lift the panel.
  • Inspect element: Look for visible breaks, bulges, or burn marks on the bottom element.
  • Electrical test: Disconnect the element terminals and measure resistance. Infinite resistance indicates a failed element. Replace with a compatible Logik bottom element.
  • Check wiring: Inspect the wiring from the element back to the terminal block or PCB. Repair any heat-damaged insulation and replace loose or burnt connectors.
  • Relay/PCB: If the element and wiring are good but no voltage is supplied in bake mode, the main control PCB relay may be faulty and require replacement.
