Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan relay on main PCB, Shorted triac or transistor driving fan, Faulty temperature sensor reading hot, Wiring short between sensor and PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power before removing any covers. The fan may start unexpectedly if power is restored.
- Allow cool-down: If the oven was recently used, allow several hours for it to cool. Some models keep the fan running until a safe temperature is reached.
- Check sensor reading: If the fan never stops, test the oven temperature sensor as described for E01/E02. A sensor reading permanently hot can keep the fan on.
- Inspect PCB: Remove the top or rear cover to access the main control PCB. Identify the cooling fan relay or triac (refer to board markings).
- Check for stuck relay: Tap the relay lightly with an insulated tool; if the fan stops temporarily, the relay contacts are sticking and the PCB should be repaired or replaced.
- Wiring check: Ensure the fan is not wired directly to live due to a misconnection or melted insulation.
