Possible Causes

Timer left in automatic program mode, Mis-set end time or duration, Faulty timer contacts not closing in manual mode

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal work is required for basic checks; if panel removal is needed, isolate power first.

  • Set to manual: Press the timer mode button until the manual symbol (often a hand icon) appears. Clear any programmed start or end times.
  • Reset timer: Disconnect power for a few minutes, restore, and immediately set the clock. Many ovens will not heat until the time is set.
  • Test timer contacts: If the oven only works in certain timer settings, the internal relay contacts may be worn. Access the timer module and test continuity across the output contacts in manual mode. Replace the timer if contacts are faulty.
