Possible Causes
Open safety thermostat (thermal cut-out), Failed main power relay, Broken live feed to elements, Faulty function selector switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the mains before removing any panels. Use a non-contact voltage tester to confirm power is off.
- Check timer/manual mode: Ensure the oven is set to manual and not waiting for a delayed start. Many Logik ovens will not heat if the timer is not correctly set.
- Test multiple modes: Try conventional, fan, and grill. If none heat, suspect a common supply issue rather than individual elements.
- Inspect safety thermostat: Remove the top or rear cover to locate the thermal cut-out (usually a small round device clipped to the oven top). Test for continuity. If open, look for a reset button; press if present. If it will not reset or opens again, replace it and investigate cooling issues.
- Check selector switch: Inspect the function selector for burnt contacts or loose wires. Test continuity across the common feed and output terminals in various positions.
- Verify live feed to elements: With power off, trace the live feed from the terminal block through the selector and relays to the elements. Repair any broken wires or burnt connectors.
