Possible Causes
Stuck thermostat contacts, Faulty temperature sensor reading low, Shorted sensor wiring, Miscalibrated control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before testing components.
- Thermometer comparison: Place an oven thermometer inside and set the oven to 180°C. If the actual temperature is much higher, the control system is faulty.
- Check sensor resistance: Remove and test the temperature sensor as described earlier. Replace if resistance is out of specification.
- Inspect thermostat (mechanical models): If your Logik oven uses a mechanical thermostat, check for welded contacts or burnt terminals. Replace the thermostat if contacts are stuck closed.
- Control PCB: If sensor and thermostat are good, the PCB may be misreading or miscontrolling temperature and will need replacement.
