Magic Chef oven display shows PF or "Power Failure" after an outage; clock may be flashing.

Safety first: If you suspect wiring damage, turn off the breaker before inspection.

• Reset clock: Press Clock or Cancel and set the time. PF usually clears after resetting.
• Check power stability: If PF appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician check the circuit for voltage drops.
• Inspect terminal block: With power off, remove the rear cover and inspect the main power terminal block for loose screws or burnt wires. Tighten and repair as needed.

When to call a technician: If you see melted insulation or burnt terminals, stop using the oven and call for service.
