Possible Causes

Shorted sensor element, sensor wires shorted together, harness insulation melted, failed EOC sensor circuit

Safety First: Disconnect power before testing.

Access sensor: Remove sensor mounting screws inside the oven and pull sensor forward.
Test resistance: Unplug sensor and measure resistance. A reading near 0 Ω or far below ~1000 Ω indicates a short.
Inspect harness: Look for melted or bare wires touching each other or the oven chassis.
Replace sensor: Install a new oven temperature sensor if shorted. If wiring and sensor are good, replace the EOC.
