Possible Causes
Relay on control board welded closed, internal EOC fault, power surge damage, overheated control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control board.
- Visual inspection: Remove the rear panel behind the control. Inspect the EOC for burnt or discolored areas, especially near the relays.
- Check for overheating: Ensure cooling vents around the control area are not blocked by insulation or debris.
- Test element circuits: With power OFF, check for continuity from the control output to the elements to ensure there is no short to ground.
- Replace EOC: If a relay appears burnt or F7-2 persists after a power reset, replace the Electronic Oven Control board.
