Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and main control board, Damaged touch control panel, Faulty main control board (PCB), Moisture or grease contamination on keypad connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from power at the breaker before removing any panels. Confirm power is off with a non-contact voltage tester.

Steps to check and reseat keypad connections:

  • Turn off the circuit breaker supplying the Midea oven and let the unit sit for 5–10 minutes to discharge.
  • Remove the control panel trim or upper front panel screws (usually from the top or behind the door) to access the touch panel and main control board.
  • Locate the flat ribbon cable from the touch keypad to the main control board.
  • Carefully unplug the ribbon cable, inspect for corrosion, burnt spots, or bent contacts.
  • Clean the connector gently with electronics contact cleaner and allow to dry fully.
  • Firmly reseat the ribbon cable, ensuring it is straight and fully inserted.
  • Reassemble the control panel, restore power, and test the oven.

If E0 persists:

  • Replace the touch control panel if some keys are unresponsive or intermittent.
  • If all keys seem dead and E0 remains, the main control board (clock/PCB) is likely faulty and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
