Advertisements

Possible Causes

Burnt oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken light switch or relay on control board, Damaged light wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power or at least switch off the oven before changing the bulb; the bulb and glass cover may be hot.

Replace bulb:

  • Remove the glass cover over the oven lamp by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven bulb specified by Midea.

If light still fails:

  • Inspect the lamp holder for corrosion or burning; replace if damaged.
  • Check wiring from the lamp holder to the control board for continuity.
  • If wiring is good, the main control board light relay may be faulty and require replacement.
