Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the oven from the cabinet or opening covers.

Identify source: With the oven running (before disconnecting), listen carefully to locate the noise area (top, rear, side). Then power off and open that area.
Inspect cooling fan: Check the top cooling fan for play in the shaft or loose mounting screws. Tighten screws or replace the fan if bearings are noisy.
Secure components: On the control board, ensure transformers and chokes are firmly mounted. Add insulating pads or tighten screws if they vibrate.
Panel damping: If thin metal panels vibrate, adding manufacturer-approved damping pads or tightening fasteners can reduce noise.

High-pitched whining or humming noise from the oven even when not heating, often from the top area.
