• Verify with thermometer: Place an oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the set value over several cycles.
• Inspect door seal: Check the gasket around the door for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if damaged to prevent heat loss.
• Check convection fan: Ensure the fan runs smoothly in fan-assisted modes. Clean blades and replace the motor if not operating correctly.
• Replace NTC sensor: If readings are consistently off by a large margin, replace the oven temperature sensor with a genuine Miele part.
• Control calibration: Some models allow user-level temperature offset adjustment in settings. If not sufficient, the control may need recalibration or replacement by Miele service.
