Oven racks or telescopic runners are difficult to slide or make scraping noises.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before removing racks.

• Remove and clean: Take out all racks and telescopic runners. Clean them with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly.
• Clean side rails: Wipe the side support rails inside the oven to remove baked-on residue.
• Lubrication: Use only Miele-approved high-temperature lubricant on telescopic runner bearings if specified by the manufacturer; do not use general-purpose oils.
• Replace worn runners: If runners still bind or wobble, replace the telescopic runner set.
