• Inspect elements: With power off, look for visible cracks, blisters, or burn marks on the main oven and grill elements.
• Check rear connections: Remove the rear cover and inspect the element terminals and wiring for signs of arcing or melted insulation.
• Dry moisture: If the oven was recently steam-cleaned or exposed to water, allow it to dry for 24–48 hours with the door open.

Advanced checks (for qualified persons):

• Use an insulation tester (megger) between each element terminal and earth. Any reading significantly below manufacturer spec indicates leakage and the element should be replaced.
• Inspect the main terminal block for heat damage and tighten all connections to the correct torque.
