Possible Causes

Failed fan oven element, failed top/bottom element, burnt wiring to element, faulty relay on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing any covers or accessing internal components.

  • Confirm symptom: Select a conventional or fan oven mode and set temperature to 200°C. If E003 appears and no heat is produced, a heating circuit fault is likely.
  • Inspect elements: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity (if accessible) to view the fan oven element. Look for breaks, bulges, or burn marks. Check the top grill and bottom bake elements for similar damage.
  • Continuity test: With the oven pulled out and rear cover removed, disconnect the element terminals and measure resistance. A typical fan element is 20–40 Ω. Infinite resistance indicates a failed element.
  • Check wiring and connectors: Inspect spade terminals and wiring to each element for signs of overheating or burning. Tighten or replace damaged connectors.
  • Relay check (basic): While powered (only if you are competent and safe), you may hear relays click on the main PCB when heat is requested. No relay activity may indicate a control board fault.

Replace any open-circuit element. If all elements and wiring are sound but E003 persists, the main control module or relay board may need replacement by a qualified technician.
