Possible Causes

Failed door lock motor, jammed latch mechanism, faulty door lock switch, wiring fault between lock and PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the oven at the mains and allow it to cool completely, especially after pyrolytic cleaning.

  • Wait for cooling: During pyrolytic cycles, the door remains locked until the cavity cools. Ensure sufficient time (up to 1–2 hours) has passed.
  • Power reset: After cooling, switch power off for 5 minutes, then back on. Sometimes the lock will reset and E007 will clear.
  • Check for mechanical obstruction: Inspect the door latch area for debris or misalignment. Gently press the door inwards while trying to open to relieve pressure on the latch.
  • Access lock assembly: If still locked, you may need to remove the top panel and manually release the lock lever from above (model dependent). Once open and power off, inspect the lock motor and microswitches for damage or loose connections.

If the lock motor does not actuate or the lock switch does not change state when operated, replace the complete door lock assembly. Persistent E007 after lock replacement may indicate a control board fault.
