Possible Causes
Empty or incorrectly inserted water tank, blocked steam inlet, failed steam generator heater, faulty water level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool and disconnect power before accessing internal steam components.
- Check water tank: Ensure the water tank is filled to the correct level and properly seated in its compartment.
- Clean tank contacts: Wipe the electrical contacts on the tank and in the oven with a dry cloth to ensure good connection.
- Descale system: If the oven indicates descaling is needed, run the descaling program using the recommended descaler for Neff steam ovens.
- Inspect steam inlet: Check the steam outlet/inlet inside the cavity for blockages and clean gently.
If E024 persists, the steam generator heater or level sensor may be faulty and typically requires professional service.
