Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between touch control and main PCB, failed touch control panel, liquid ingress into control fascia, faulty main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains before removing the control panel.

  • Power reset: Turn off power for 10 minutes, then restore. If F06 returns immediately, proceed.
  • Inspect fascia and buttons: Check for signs of moisture, steam damage, or cleaning fluid ingress around the display and buttons. Allow to dry fully if recently cleaned.
  • Check ribbon cable: Remove the front control panel (usually a few screws from inside the door area). Locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad/touch board to the main PCB. Reseat both ends carefully, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
  • Examine for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on connectors or tracks. If present on the keypad board, replace the user interface/touch control module.
  • Main PCB replacement: If the keypad board appears fine and reseating cables does not help, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement by a qualified technician.
