Possible Causes
Internal power supply failure on PCB, loose mains terminal block, damaged mains filter, neutral/line connection issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven at the consumer unit. Verify absence of voltage before touching terminals.
- Check mains supply: Confirm the wall isolator and circuit breaker are on and supplying correct voltage. Test with a meter if competent.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block. Tighten any loose screws and look for heat damage or discoloration. Replace the block if burnt.
- Examine mains filter and wiring: Follow the mains wires through the interference filter to the control PCB. Repair or replace any damaged components.
- Control PCB power section: If external wiring is sound, the internal low-voltage supply on the PCB may have failed. Replace the PCB.
