Possible Causes

Worn heater relay contacts on PCB, dry solder joints on relay pins, intermittent wiring connection to elements

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the control PCB.

  • Tap test (non-invasive): With the oven running and F15 appearing intermittently, a light tap on the control panel (do not hit hard) sometimes causes heating to start/stop, indicating a relay or connection issue. Do not continue using the oven in this state.
  • Inspect PCB: Remove the control panel and examine the main PCB. Look for darkened areas around the heater relays and cracked solder joints. Reflowing solder should only be done by someone experienced.
  • Replace PCB or relays: In most domestic repairs, the entire PCB is replaced rather than individual relays. Fit a genuine or compatible New World control board.
  • Check element wiring: Ensure all element spade terminals are tight and not arcing.
