Oven cabinet sides and control panel become excessively hot during normal cooking.

Safety first: Turn off the oven and allow it to cool. Overheating can damage cabinets and electronics.

• Check cooling fan: During operation, you should hear the cooling fan running. If not, test and replace the fan motor.
• Clear vents: Ensure that front trim vents and rear cabinet vents are not blocked by sealant, insulation, or kitchen panels.
• Inspect internal baffles: Some New World ovens use metal baffles to direct airflow. If these are missing or displaced, refit or replace them.
• Door seal: Replace a damaged door seal to prevent hot air escaping onto the control panel.
