Possible Causes
Blown display fuse on PCB, failed clock module, loose connector to display, dimmed VFD/LED due to age
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains before removing the control panel.
- Check for backlight or faint display: In a dark room, see if any faint digits are visible. If so, the display itself may be failing.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the control panel and check the connectors to the clock/display module. Reseat them firmly.
- Internal fuse: Some New World timers have a small internal fuse. If accessible and blown, replace with the exact type and rating.
- Replace clock module: If there is still no display, replace the entire clock/timer module with a compatible New World part.
