Safety first: Turn off the oven and allow it to cool. Do not force the door violently.

• Gentle manipulation: While pulling gently on the handle, press or lift the door slightly to relieve pressure on the latch. Often the door will release.
• Inspect latch area: Once open, examine the latch hook and striker for signs of rubbing or misalignment. Adjust screws as needed.
• Check door seal: A swollen or displaced seal can jam the door. Reseat or replace the seal.
• Hinge adjustment: If the door is twisted, replacing the hinges may correct the alignment.
