Possible Causes
One of multiple elements failed (e.g., fan element open but base element working), low mains voltage, faulty thermostat or sensor causing early cut-off, relay contact resistance on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before testing elements or wiring.
- Compare modes: Test fan oven, conventional, and grill separately. If one mode is significantly weaker, suspect the element for that mode.
- Element continuity: Access and test each element with a multimeter. Replace any element with no continuity or visible damage.
- Check door seal: A badly leaking door seal can cause heat loss. Inspect for gaps or tears and replace if necessary.
- Sensor/thermostat: If the oven cycles off too early (light goes off quickly and temperature is low), test the temperature sensor and thermostat. Replace if out of specification.
