Oven interior light does not work, but oven heats normally.

Safety first: Switch off power at the isolator. Even lamps can be live when the oven is off.

• Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with a high-temperature oven lamp of the correct wattage and cap type (often E14) suitable for New World ovens.
• Check lamp holder: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the lamp holder for burning or corrosion. Replace the holder if damaged.
• Switch/relay: On models where the light is controlled by a switch or PCB, test continuity of the switch or output from the PCB. Replace the faulty component if necessary.
