Possible Causes
Seized fan motor, broken fan blade, failed fan motor capacitor (if fitted), wiring fault to fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains. Fan blades can be sharp.
- Access fan: Remove the rear inner panel of the oven cavity to expose the fan blade. Try to spin it by hand. If stiff or jammed, the motor is likely faulty.
- Check for obstructions: Remove any loose screws or debris fouling the fan.
- Motor continuity: Access the rear of the oven, disconnect the fan motor, and test for continuity. Replace the fan motor if open circuit or seized.
- Replace fan motor: Remove mounting screws from the rear, transfer the fan blade to the new New World fan motor, and refit.
