Possible Causes

Loose wiring harness between touch control and main PCB, Defective touch control panel, Faulty main control board (PCB), Oxidized connector pins on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker. Wait at least 5–10 minutes before removing any panels.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore power and see if E0 clears. Temporary glitches can be cleared this way.
  • Access control area: Remove the top cover or front trim (depending on model) to access the touch control and main PCB. Keep screws organized.
  • Inspect wiring harness: Locate the multi-pin harness between the touch control (front panel) and the main control board. Check for loose plugs, partially seated connectors, or damaged insulation. Reseat each connector firmly.
  • Check for corrosion or burning: Look for darkened, burnt, or greenish (oxidized) pins on the PCB connectors. Lightly clean with electrical contact cleaner and a soft brush if only minor oxidation is present.
  • Check ribbon cable: If your OBH Nordica oven uses a flat ribbon cable for the keypad, inspect for kinks, cracks, or broken traces. A damaged ribbon usually requires replacing the entire touch control assembly.
  • Test operation: Reassemble the front panel, restore power, and test the oven. If E0 persists after reseating and cleaning connectors, the main PCB or touch control is likely defective and should be replaced.

When to call a technician: If you see burnt components on the PCB or are not comfortable working around live circuits, contact a qualified appliance technician to replace the control board.
