Oven displays E7 and the convection fan or convection heating does not operate.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power and allow it to cool before removing panels.

Steps to diagnose and fix:

• Access convection assembly: Remove the rear panel of the oven and, if needed, the inner rear cover inside the cavity to expose the convection fan and ring element.
• Check fan movement: Spin the convection fan by hand. It should rotate freely without grinding. If seized or noisy, the motor is likely faulty.
• Inspect wiring: Check the wiring harness to the convection fan motor and ring element for burns, loose connectors, or broken insulation. Reseat connectors securely.
• Test fan motor: With the motor disconnected, measure resistance across its terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor that must be replaced.
• Test convection element: Disconnect one wire and measure resistance across the element. Infinite resistance means the element is open and needs replacement.
• Replace defective parts: Remove mounting screws, replace the convection fan motor or ring element with OBH Nordica-compatible parts, and ensure correct routing of wires.
• Control board check: If both motor and element test good but do not operate, the convection relay on the main control board may be defective and the board should be replaced.
• Test operation: Reassemble, restore power, and run a convection bake program to confirm that E7 is cleared and airflow is normal.
