Possible Causes
Loose connector to convection fan/element assembly, Faulty feedback sensor on convection system (if equipped), Damaged wiring harness, Control board convection driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing any panels.
Steps to check:
- Inspect convection connectors: Access the rear of the oven and locate the connectors for the convection fan and ring element. Reseat all plugs firmly.
- Check harness condition: Look for chafed or pinched wires where the harness passes through metal openings. Repair or replace damaged sections.
- Test fan and element: Use a multimeter to verify continuity of the convection fan motor and ring element. Replace any open components.
- Control board check: If all hardware tests good, the convection driver circuit on the main PCB may be faulty. Replace the board with an OBH Nordica-compatible unit.
- Test: Reassemble, restore power, and run a convection program to ensure F7 does not return.
