Possible Causes
Unstable mains frequency, Faulty frequency detection circuit on PCB, Electrical noise from other appliances, Loose neutral or live connection at terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the rear of the oven.
Steps to check:
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and check that all screws on the mains terminal block are tight. Loose connections can cause erratic frequency readings.
- Check for shared circuits: Avoid running the oven on a circuit heavily loaded with other large appliances that may introduce electrical noise.
- Power reset: After tightening connections, disconnect power for 10 minutes, then restore and see if F9 clears.
- Control board replacement: If the mains supply is stable and connections are secure but F9 persists, the frequency detection circuit on the main PCB is likely faulty. Replace the control board.
Note: If you suspect issues with your home's electrical supply, consult a licensed electrician.
