Possible Causes
Damaged touch panel, Loose keypad ribbon cable, Moisture behind control glass, Faulty user interface PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.
Steps to fix:
- Dry out moisture: If the issue started after cleaning or steam cooking, leave the door open and allow the control area to dry for several hours. Then perform a power reset.
- Access control panel: Remove screws securing the front panel and gently pull it forward to expose the touch panel and ribbon cables.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable at both ends, ensuring it is fully inserted and locked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for cracks in the touch glass or damage to the flexible cable. Replace the OBH Nordica-compatible touch panel or UI board if damaged.
- Test: Reassemble, restore power, and verify that all buttons respond correctly.
