Possible Causes

Burnt-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken lamp wiring, Failed lamp switch or relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker before replacing the bulb or touching the lamp holder.

Steps to fix:

  • Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the cavity (usually by twisting counterclockwise). Replace the bulb with an OBH Nordica-specified high-temperature oven bulb of the same wattage and base type.
  • Inspect lamp holder: Check for signs of burning or cracking. If the holder is damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
  • Check wiring: Access the rear of the lamp holder from behind the oven and ensure the wires are securely connected and not burnt.
  • Control board check: If the bulb and holder are good but the light never comes on (even when the door is opened or light button is pressed), the lamp relay or switch on the control board may be faulty. Replace the main PCB if necessary.
  • Test: Restore power and verify that the light operates correctly in all modes.
