How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing the control panel or top cover.
- 1. Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. Sometimes a transient fault clears with a reset.
- 2. Access control panel: Remove the oven’s front control panel (usually by removing screws along the top or sides). Carefully pull it forward to expose the display/user interface PCB and ribbon cables.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Gently unplug the ribbon cable(s) between the display PCB and the main control PCB. Inspect for corrosion or bent pins. Reinsert firmly and evenly.
- 4. Inspect for damage: Look for signs of moisture ingress, cracked PCBs, or burnt components on either board.
- 5. Test operation: Reassemble the panel, restore power, and check if the error clears. If not, one of the boards is likely defective.
- 6. Board replacement: Replace the user interface PCB first (often the more common failure). If the issue persists, the main control PCB may need replacement by a technician.
