Possible Causes
Blown main fuse, Tripped thermal cut-out on top of cavity, Loose mains connection at terminal block, Failed main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Work on mains connections only if you are competent. Always isolate power at the breaker and verify with a tester.
- 1. Check household breaker: Ensure the circuit breaker or fuse feeding the oven has not tripped or blown.
- 2. Inspect terminal block: Access the rear of the oven and check the mains terminal block for loose or burnt connections.
- 3. Test main fuse: Many Panasonic ovens have an internal fuse near the power entry. Test and replace with the exact same rating if blown, but investigate the cause of failure.
- 4. Thermal cut-out: Locate the main thermal cut-out on top of the cavity. Test for continuity; if open and non-resettable, replace it.
- 5. Control PCB: If power is present at the board but there is no response, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
