Oven makes loud rattling or grinding noises when the fan is running.

Safety: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before accessing the fan.

• 1. Identify noise source: Run the oven briefly and listen to determine if the noise comes from the rear (convection fan) or top/front (cooling fan).
• 2. Access noisy fan: Remove the rear cavity cover for the convection fan or the top cover for the cooling fan.
• 3. Remove obstructions: Clear any loose screws, foil, or debris contacting the fan blades.
• 4. Tighten fan nut/screws: Ensure the fan blade is firmly secured to the motor shaft and that the motor mounting screws are tight.
• 5. Check bearings: Spin the fan by hand. Roughness or side play indicates worn bearings; replace the fan motor assembly.
