Possible Causes

Failed convection element around fan, Loose wiring to fan element, Faulty fan element relay, Overheated connectors

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before removing the inner rear panel.

  • Remove fan cover: Inside the cavity, remove screws holding the rear cover to expose the convection fan and surrounding element.
  • Inspect element: Look for cracks or burn marks on the circular element around the fan.
  • Test resistance: Disconnect the element leads and measure resistance. An open reading means the element is faulty.
  • Check wiring: Ensure the wires to the element are secure and not heat-damaged.

Replace the convection element if open or damaged. If the element is good but E10 persists, the control board relay may be defective and require replacement.
