Oven emits a strong chemical or plastic smell on first few uses.

Safety first: Ensure good ventilation by opening windows or using an extractor fan.

• Initial burn-in: Remove all packaging and accessories. Run the empty oven at 200–250°C for 30–60 minutes to burn off residues.
• Clean cavity: After cooling, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

If the smell persists after several uses or smells like burning plastic or wiring, disconnect power and have the oven inspected.
