Possible Causes
Weak or partially failed heating element, Faulty temperature sensor, Poor door seal causing heat loss, Miscalibrated thermostat or control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Verify with thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the set temperature.
- Inspect elements: Check that all elements glow evenly when active. Dark spots or uneven glow indicate a failing element.
- Check door gasket: Inspect the rubber gasket around the door for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if damaged.
- Test sensor: Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor at room temperature and compare to specifications. Replace if out of range.
Some Princess ovens allow temperature calibration in the settings menu. Adjust if necessary. If problems persist, the control board may require replacement.
