Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Capacitors on the PCB can retain charge; avoid touching components unnecessarily.
- Access control PCB: Remove the top/front panel to expose the electronic control module.
- Visual inspection: Look for burnt areas, cracked solder joints, or bulging components around the main relays and triacs.
- Check incoming power: With power off, verify that all connectors are firmly seated. If comfortable and qualified, you can later check live voltage to the board and from the board to the elements, but this should only be done by someone trained to work on live circuits.
- Board replacement: In most cases of F06, the control PCB must be replaced as a complete unit. Transfer any wiring one connector at a time to avoid miswiring.
- Reassemble and test: After replacing the PCB, restore power and test all heating functions.
Warning: Live testing on the control board involves lethal voltages. If you are not experienced with electrical diagnostics, contact a qualified appliance technician.
