Possible Causes

Faulty touch control membrane, Moisture ingress behind control panel, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and PCB, Failed user interface PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker before removing any panels.

  • Dry out moisture: If F09 appeared after heavy steam use or cleaning, leave the oven powered off for several hours with the door open to allow moisture to evaporate.
  • Access control fascia: Remove the front control panel screws and gently pull the fascia forward to expose the keypad ribbon cable and user interface PCB.
  • Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat cable is fully inserted and not damaged. Reseat it carefully.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for signs of moisture or corrosion on the keypad contacts and PCB. Lightly clean with isopropyl alcohol if minor.
  • Keypad test: If certain keys never respond, the membrane keypad is likely faulty and the entire control fascia or keypad assembly must be replaced.
  • UI PCB replacement: If all keys are affected and reseating cables does not help, replace the user interface PCB.
