Possible Causes
Faulty communication harness between main PCB and UI PCB, Failed main control PCB, Failed user interface PCB, Poor connector seating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the control area.
- Check connectors: Access the control panel and main PCB. Locate the low-voltage harness linking the boards. Unplug and replug connectors to ensure good contact.
- Inspect harness: Look for pinched, cut, or heat-damaged wires. Replace the harness if any conductor is damaged.
- Board isolation test: If possible, disconnect one board at a time (with power off) and inspect for obvious damage. If one board shows burnt components, replace that board first.
- Replace suspect board: If no wiring fault is found, replace the main control PCB or UI PCB according to Proline service documentation, starting with the more commonly failing board (often the main PCB).
